IGA Bursary Program for students with financial need
Subject: IGA Bursary Program
At the last meeting of the International Grenfell Association’s Bursary Committee, it was agreed that we would attempt to reach as many organizations as possible within its service area to inform them of its Bursary Program, which awards funding for students within the region for purposes of attending post-secondary education.
We are now reaching out to you via this email to ask that you think about students within your area who should be considered for applications within this program.
The deadline for high schools students to apply to their respective principals is February 15th, and their principal then passes applications from their individual schools on to the regional school board office, for submission to the IGA.
The deadline for students already enrolled in post-secondary studies is March 31st. These students can apply directly to the IGA.
The International Grenfell Association’s Bursary Program awards funding for students primarily based on need, with decisions on awards being made at its next meeting, scheduled for mid-May.
More information on our program can be found in the attached document. (See IGA Bursary under "Scholarships" section of this website.)
